MUSCLE ANTI FATIGUE DEVICE
Technology Sector
The object of the present invention is related to the decrease of the physical load and muscular tension of the worker produced by the continuous performance of activities, and, in particular, refers to a device for the arm of a user, which allows to support much of the tension required to carry out the aforementioned activities.
State of the art
In general, in jobs where an effort is made, or unusual positions are maintained, for a prolonged and constant time, there is a risk of muscle overload, resulting in significant injuries, due, above all, to repetitive movements, such as due to example the raising and lowering of the arm, or its maintenance in raised position. For example, this type of work is carried out on a regular basis by the teaching staff, production chain workers, repleteners of large surface products, among others.
Devices, secured by belts or straps, are known for stabilizing the shoulder of a patient in case of injury, being able to cite, among the great variety existing, by way of reference, the European patent EP1319379, or the German utility model DE9215341U . However, the range of devices that have a preventive character, that is, orthotic devices that, applied to the body, facilitate the execution of an activity to prevent future injuries due to a repeated load over time is not as abundant.
In this regard, devices used as armrests for use by people who often use writing elements, or the computer mouse, are known, as reflected in US607675 and ES2087300, respectively.
Likewise, Utility Model ES1104281 describes a system to reduce the physical load and muscular tension in the neck, arms and back of the hairdresser in which,

By means of rubber bands connected to a pair of munequeras carried by the operator, the tension and muscular fatigue of the arms are relieved, but which, nevertheless, requires connection rubber bands with some external element (roof, wall or similar), which limits the user mobility to the area of influence of the proposed system.
However, all these devices have a complex embodiment and are uncomfortable for the user, not allowing any of them to establish a selective support of the user's arm in different work positions depending on the needs of the user.
Object of the invention
In accordance with the invention, a device is proposed for alleviating muscle fatigue that occurs when the arm must be held up continuously over time.
The anti muscle fatigue device comprises:
- a support body connectable to the user's body,
- a support plate connectable to the user's arm,
- an articulated clamping structure configured to fold the support plate with respect to the support body between a folded position in which the support plate is folded onto the support body and at least one working position in which the support plate is angled with respect to the support body, and
- First means of securing the support body to the user's body.
The articulated support structure is attached to the support body by means of a rotation axis, such that the support plate pivots laterally with respect to the support body, so that the device allows a slight rotation of the user's arm that is supported on the support plate .
Additionally, the anti-muscle fatigue device comprises a second means of securing the support plate to the user's arm.
The articulated support structure of the muscular fatigue device comprises a first section, a second section, and a third guide section, which allows the folding of the plate

support, as well as the interlocking of it in different work positions depending on the needs of the user.
The upper end of the first section is connected by a first turning joint to one end of the support plate, the lower end of the first section is connected by a second turning joint to the upper end of the second section, the lower end of the second section It is connected by a third turn joint to the support body, and the upper end of the third guide section is connected by a fourth turn joint to the support body.
The support plate is connected to the support body by means of the fourth rotation joint, to allow the support plate to be folded down (with respect to the support body).
The third guide section comprises a groove, and a first and second interlocking points, such that the second joint pivot joint of the first and second sections is slidable through the groove with the possibility of interlocking at the first or second interlocking point. The first locking point corresponds to a working position in which the support plate is arranged at a first angle of 90 ° with respect to the support body. The second locking point corresponds to a working position in which the support plate is arranged at a second angle of 65 ° with respect to the support body.
The support body has an ergonomic coating adaptable to the user's body.
With all of this, a device is obtained that allows to block and support a user's arm in an elevated position during the execution of a job, so that the muscular fatigue that occurs in the arm and areas close to it is relieved.

Detailed description of the invention
A perspective view of the anti muscle fatigue device of the invention is shown in figure 1, which comprises a support body (1), a support plate (2), an articulated support structure (3), and first means of support (4) of the support body (1).
The support body (1) is configured to connect to the user's body, while the support plate (2) is configured to support a user's arm. As seen in the example of figure 7, the support body (1) is connected to the lateral side of the user body, just below the armpit, by the first fastening means (4), while the support plate (2) establish a support to support the weight of the user's arm.
The user's arm can rest freely on the support plate (2), or additionally, the muscle fatigue device may comprise a second means of attachment (5) to establish a support plate support (2) to the arm of the user.
The articulated clamping structure (3) is configured to allow the support plate (2) to fall apart from the support body (1) between a folded position, as shown in Figure 2, in which the support plate ( 2) is collapsed on the support body (1), and at least one working position in which the support plate (2) is
